Resolving your Complaint


We will try to respond within two working days upon receipt of your complaint. In case we need more time to look into the matter, we will advise you of the contact details of the person following up on your case. All your complaints will be reflected to the management and will be handled in total confidence by employees with the right experience and authority who are not directly involved in the matter. If a complaint is raised by a third party, we will only contact the customer directly to protect his/her privacy. Appropriate redress will be offered if the complaint is upheld but it may not necessarily involve a financial compensation. You can ask for your case to be reviewed by management at a higher level within HCBS if you are dissatisfied with the decision.
Our aim is to resolve all complaints internally. However, if despite our best efforts, you are not entirely satisfied with our handling, you have the right to refer the matter to the Securities and Futures Commission ("SFC") on the 35/F, Cheung Kong Center, 2 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong. For monetary dispute, you may also refer your case to the Financial Dispute Resolution Centre ("FDRC") on the Unit 3701-4, 37/F, Sunlight Tower, 248 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong. HCBS fully co-operates with the SFC and the FDRC in the handling of complaints.
